NoorAllah — Privacy Policy

NoorAllah ("the app") is a Quran, prayer, and worship companion. We respect your privacy and collect only what the app needs to function. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your choices.

Information we collect

• Account (optional): If you create an account, we store your email address and display name to sign you in and sync your settings across devices. You can use the app fully without an account.
• Location: Used on your device to calculate prayer times and the Qibla direction. Your precise location is not stored on our servers.
• App settings & progress: Bookmarks, reading position, reminders, and preferences. These are stored on your device and, if you are signed in, synced to your account so you can restore them.
• Questions to "Noor" (AI assistant): Text you send is processed to generate a reply about Islamic topics. We do not attach your identity to these questions.
• Advertising: If you use the free version, our advertising partner (Google AdMob) may collect device identifiers to show ads. Purchasing "Remove Ads" stops ad requests.

How we use information

To provide prayer times, the Qibla, Quran audio and text, reminders, account sync, the Noor assistant, and (in the free version) advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

Third-party services

• Supabase — secure account, authentication, and settings sync.
• Google AdMob — advertising in the free version (Google Privacy Policy).
• Google Gemini (via our server) — powers the Noor assistant; questions are sent without your identity.
• everyayah.com / alquran.cloud — Quran audio and text delivery.

Data security

Data is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS). We take reasonable measures to protect your information, though no method of transmission is completely secure.

Your choices & deletion

You can delete your account and associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete account inside the app. You may also request deletion by emailing us.

Children

NoorAllah is a general-audience app and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
